Europe’s tattoo artist fears for future after EU ink ban
As of Tuesday, the 4th, the EU implemented and applied a ban on many substances including coloured ink which was believed to cause cancer. The regulations were put in place to ban over 4000 chemicals such as Reach, and Isopropanol alcohol which is commonly found in tattoo inks. Alternatives however are in the works
The EU would like to reassure that the ban will not restrict tattoo and permanent makeup services, but it aims to just make them safer.
